WEST COAST TEAMS IN THE FIRST ROUND HAVING 10AM PST OR EARLIER STARTS THERE TIME ARE 5-12-1 ATS THE LAST 20 YEARS

I watched most of that CSN and Pacific game Saturday night. Bad, bad basketball. Memphis should blow the doors off this team.

memphis length will cause all kinds of problems for northridge as will their shaky ball handling
i expect 20+ turnovers, leading to a ton of easy points for memphis and when csn gets into the half court a ton of "bad" looking contested shots that have no chance of going in
heck, csn couldnt get an offense going the last 5 mins + ot vs pacific zone defense, imaging what memphis does to them
i too see a 70 something game to a 50 something game....just hope it's high 70's to low 50's

GJN I THINK YOUR ZONA TEAM MAY HAVE A CHANCE FOR A COUPLE -THE PROBLEM IS THERE COACH - TOTALLY OUTCOACHED AND UNPREPARED IN THE TOURNEY AGAINST ASU- UTAH HAS ONE HELL OF A COACH AND A DISCIPLINED TEAM LIKE ASU D - BUT HAVE BY FAR THE BEST PLAYER ON THE FLOOR- I THINK UTAH PLAYS ALOT OF ZONE AND FRUSTRATES THE SNOT OF ZONA
Interesting. I see Arizona frustrating the snot out of Utah as well with their zone D (even though its fairly weak). The Utes are mostly about their big man so it will be interesting to see how he does against Hill. I think Hill can dominate anyone at the college level. Every time I see him, I think he should be playing in the NBA THIS year.
Pennell is a complete mystery just like you're saying. Will he come out playing high tempo ball or will he resort to playing halfcourt ball for 40 minutes? Fortunately they won't have these kind of issues next year when Pitino steps in!

I personally would rather take a great coach over a bad coach. Utah wins this game against a Zona team that has been losing every year in the 1st round lately.
