Go Habs Go!!
Chi - Dal UNDER 5 goals (-125): Daze is out, Guerin and Modano are slumping, Thibault is back in nets and both teams are doing well... going to be a tight one.

Edm - LA UNDER 5 goals (-135): Edmonton, without Comrie won last night, Salo is back in nets; they are also playing well as a team and after a few high scoring games before last night, they must of practiced their defensive game a lot! Allison and 2 other centers back tonight, which will result in a nice hard working game. Took this one last night... could of gotten a better price today. Thinking about LA on the Moneyline.

SAN JOSE -.5 (+125): St-Louis will definitely be hungry for this one after losing in OT to Preds. SJ came back from 3 goal deficit, which always a good thing for a team.

CHICAGO +.5 (+175): Too good of an offer to pass on in a possible very tight game.

Parlay: MTL & MTL - NYR OVER 5.5 goals: I thought Irbe was pretty weak last night. Thoedore is playing well but the Rangers are also. The key here will be if the Habs score some goals.

Parlay: TOR & TOR - PIT UNDER 5.5 goals: Pittsburgh-less Lemieux are not a very strong offensive team and Toronto plays good defense. I'm scared about fluke goals in this one but Toronto should come out a winner.

All the best to you all tonight!

Ace :)

P.S. I'm not sure if I should continue threads that are already started instead of starting my own... if someone reads this, please let me know. Tks!

COOZ3: Luck is what was missing for my early plays... Toronto scored an empty-netter on a giveaway and McKay scored an empty-netter with no time left on the clock... Like they say: you win some and you lose some!

About San Jose... well... if I don't win, at least I know that you'll have won!!!

SPOCK: What I meant is that the Rangers won 5-1 against the Canes with Irbe in nets (pulled in the 3rd) last night. That is why I was leaning more on the Habs instead of the Rangers. At first look you might think that the Rangers played a very good game but it is more precise to say that Irbe played a bad one. Carolina also outshot the Rangers by a wide margin.

No typo; simply a statement which I did not really develop... Probably makes more sense to you now, right? Sorry about that!

Good luck with your plays!

Addition to my plays tonight:

Edmonton -.5 (+145): The Oilers are a very resilient team and with Salo in nets, they will have a chance to win against the Kings. The Kings got some boost up front with 3 centers back in the lineup. Allison's presence will surely help the Kings. But if I am right, Allison came back twice from injuries this season and LA is 0-2... haven't checked it though. Another thing, Mike York is hot. Perhaps the Moneyline might of been a little safer...

those type of things happen in sports betting..ive had my share...but if it takes lucky things like that to ruin a play...then 9 times out of 10 your on the right side and winning....just happens sometimes...

good luck..(what goes around comes around so your due )..lol...cooz

COOZ3: You're absolutely right... I play hockey and as a goalie, I can definitely say it is the same thing... when you're good and winning, the posts are always there to help you out; but when your slumping... where are they!

Like you say, I will be due...

Just hope it doesn't happen in the SJ-STL game!!! Thanks for your encouragement!

SPOCK: You're right, the Canes goalies are struggling... makes you wonder if they will look at a possible trade if Weekes doesn't get his act together. Since his injury he hasn't been the same guy. Incredible how a goalie's play has so much incidence on the whole team's performance. But I am confident that Weekes will get his groove back in the near future.

The Rangers... you said it best: The Rangers are the Rangers!

Thanks HORNS!

I will keep on posting... I started posting a couple of days ago... It's a good thing no one paid too much attention!

But my career record is good, so I will even it out!

HORNS: You're right, they don't have a solid defensive unit. Mironov's addition will help them out and Purintain's solid play is encouraging (he is injured right now). But another thing I might add is team chemistry. It doesn't look really fun to play on their team. I read their papers regularly and that'S the feeling I get reading their comments.
