memphis (-3.5) over uab

get the sense that uab is becoming a 'chic' upset pick for the night. but memphis is coming off arguably their worst performance of the season and should handle the blazers here. way too tough to ignore the +20 edge memphis held on the glass in the first meeting. tigers had nearly as many offensive rebounds as uab had total rebounds. the basketball adage that 'those that press don't like to be pressed' could be apropos here. uab wants to play full court baseline to baseline basketball. memphis is more than equipped to play that game. this is one of those games that will probably have a lot of 8-0 spurts by each team but in the end, see the tigers winning by 7 or 8 points.
