smoltz couldn't beat AAA Syracuse on the 12th here...he didn't look to good,wasn't bad but didn't look ML... he did throw strikes, lot of changes, not much heat..... syracuse was supposed to be his last AAA start 2 wks ago ????

I hear ya....but, we're talk'n the Nats here. Smoltz should keep them in the game. I'll take the better bats in this one. GL!
