Padilla (11-9) had been 4-0 in his previous seven starts, and the Phillies had been 11-3 in his previous 14 starts. He allowed three runs and four hits in the five innings.

Milwaukee had not swept a three-game series at home since May 19-21 against San Diego.

YET:
the Phillies are 0-3 on a season-high 13-game, four-city road trip. They have lost 11 of the last 13 on the road.
