Extremely hot at game time

Extremely hot at game time

Who has the advantage if it's extremely hot like it will be in Kansas City today - offense or defense? They say game time will be around 96 degrees.

not sure how to answer that.

Halladay was born near Colorado i think. Shud be used to high temp. He is extremely focussed so dont think shud bother him.
Same i think goes for the offence of Toronto.

Kansas players shud be used to high temp mebbe .. regarding the pitcher no clue.

Just for ur info.

Cheers !!!

Kansas City total moving - They like the over

Kansas City total moving - They like the over

The public must like to OVER in the KC game. It just moved from a 9 (-115) to a 9 (-125).

They must also like LA. Just moved from a LA (+111) to a (+103).

Happy trails,

JB :D

Thanks, Jack and good luck to you, too.

Sorry I am so late in posting here. Cubbies will not get swept. I know that is dumb reasoning, but there you have it. They blew yesterday's game in the most pitiful fashion possible and they will not blow today's game with their ace on the hill.

Is that reasoning worth -200? Hell no. And that is why I kind of like it. Nobody in their right mind could find "value" in the Cubs at -200. I gotta think books are looking for value seekers to find false value in the Pads at +185. We'll see if I overthought myself, but that is what I was thinking when I bet the game.

I should also add that I decided to bet the game before I ever saw the line. I was thinking more like -165 or -170 would be the line. I decided I didn't want to pass just because the line was "too high". GL today.

Thank you, Cubs. That is why I don't complain loudly about bad beats like Gagne being ejected in the 9th.

Trevor Hoffman is one of my favorite players, but for some reason this year I have been a benificiary in both of his blown saves. I played Giants -215 earlier this season and Cubs -200 today.

Still looking at tonight's games. Be back if I come up with anything. GL tonight.

Three for tonight. Good luck.

FLORIDA -120 over St. Louis 120/100

Burnett is the key here. Looking for the Cards to struggle in an adjustment period with Rolen.

Baltimore vs. TAMPA BAY under 9 1/2 -120 120/100

Hollowell behind the plate with Sosa and Ponson on the mound. Two poor offenses as well.

Yankees -105 over ANAHEIM 105/100

Weaver had success last year against the Halos and the Yanks have pounded lefties recently.

Thanks Nick

I will be on TB under

A little apprehensive about Weaver but he is due I would say.
Especially given he is in a situation that he has to pitch to stay on team.

Good luck with your plays tonight

So Cal
Nick - I hope you are wrong on the Yankees. They may have pounded lefties recently, but nobody has pounded Washburn in months. Weaver may have had success with Halos in past, but he hasn't been able to get anybody out since he has been with the Yankees. What scares me most about Yankees is that there pen has been horrendous - not just last night but for a long time. Not many have noticed because they continue to put up 8, 9, 10 runs per game. But once you get their starter out - anything goes. I think this is a great spot for the Angels. They have been held down for the past two games against Red Sox and I expect they will score 7 or more tonite. Maybe the over is a solid play, but Washburn and the Angel pen have been tough to score on. Good luck to you.

ferdville,

Hey, I was just down your way at the Goat Hill Tavern on Newport Blvd. on Tuesday night.

For me this is more about the struggling Angels than the Yanks. 1, 1, 5, 0 and 1 runs in their last 4 games. Granted, they faced some OK pitchers, but guys like Moyer, Fossum, Piniero and Wakefield showed weakness before they faced the Angels.

From what I have seen lately the Angels are beating themselves at the plate. They may well turn that around tonight, but they are swinging at bad pitches and not taking advantage of meatballs.

GL tonight.

Nick!

Nick!

Thanks for the under call in TB Balty. I used that as my first leg of three 2 unit 3 game parlays. Went two for three on the parlays.

Ended up with a +590 day.

If NY would have pulled off the late comeback would have been a +2000 day.

But I will take what I can get and it made up for the Dodger debacle to say the least.

I know you have posted already your plays today but what is your strongest?

Good luck today
