I'm back with the hope that I can at least get the record above .500 before the year ends......no true hope of getting the units in the positive since I only bet each game for one unit....anyway, I had miserable luck last week, so beware or fade away.
One unit each *...........local lines
UNCC +2 (Charlotte is 11-5 SU and 9-4-1 ATS in away games this year.....while Tech is only 8-9 SU and 7-9 ATS in their away games. UNCC is very balanced on offense....they have 4 guys who avg. double figures....they outscore their opponents by an avg. of 6 ppg.....shoot a higher % on avg. from both the floor and behind the arc....and outrebound their opponents by an avg. of almost 7 per game. Only thing that scares me in what should be a close game is UNCC's inability to shoot well from the line....they shoot FT's at only 65%....hopefully that doesn't come back to haunt UNCC backers....I'll take the bucket and hope it doesn't.)
Florida -5 1/2 (Sometimes you just have to go with class.....feel that this is one of those times. Florida comes from a power conference and have actually been playing some pretty good basketball winning 6 of their last 8 SU. Their 2 losses in that span both were at the hands of Kentucky...one of which was in the SEC championship game...those aren't bad losses. Manhattan is for sure a good basketball team....but they lost to rider, a 17-14 team 2 weeks ago and were taken to the wire by Niagra in the conference championship game...winning by 1. I'll take my chances with the big boy here laying a very modest number against what seems to have become a lot of people's upset special....could be but I'm going the other way.)
Syracuse -2 1/2 (They are the defending national champs.....feel they come out and play like it today....nothing more.)
