Just a question on the thought process here, and I know hindsight is 20/20. With yourself already down at +360 for the game, why would you dabble with a unit on USC 2h. It dilutes the value of that huge money line score to +180, as you now have doubled up your position. I just feel like you had yourself locked into a very nice position with the ml play, but then put too many chips in with the 2h play.

This 2h meltdown by USC is nauseating.

mathematically, youre correct. it does somewhat dilute the ML value. but just felt the trojans survived a good stanford run and then responded with a run of their own late in the 1h. when that happens, it can deflate the road opponent. stanford clearly wasnt fazed and is gonna go on and win the game.

in a nutshell:

sometimes i play mathematically
othertimes i throw caution to the wind if i feel good about a play

this falls into the latter category.

thankfully been having a good week so this collapse was a little easier to laugh off. i got no problem losin the 1/2 unit moneyline, got no problem losin the 1/2 unit 2h play. but the +8.5 stings when youre tied with 5 to go.
