PERFECT example tonight why opening lines and buying points is legit!! ST MARYS opened -3...blasted up to -5.5 immediately! They win by 3 in a comeback. I bought to -4 with the juice being just too high to buy to -3 and get screwed! I don't want to hear that opening lines and buying points are nonsense. To each their own but day in and day this shit happens...these oddsmakers know exactly wtf they are doing
Totally agree HUD see it all too often. I was testing a system and observing what you are however instead of buying the points, I was do 2 or 3 team teasers to compensate. But as you know thats why they are teasers so I kinda gave up on it unless I can put some more info with a few and throw it in as a bonus. I try to figure out That early big money that moves lines if its true cause they like the line and think its way off in their favor or if they are trying to move it so they can hit it back. I usually start my research of the day on these lines, just wish I had some ESP Neuro lol. Keep up good work HUD:toast:

If your theory is correct would it not just make sense to take the other side with 2-3 extra points of value since Vegas is so good?
I am very opposed to buying points in basketball but that's just me.
Just realize this, they wouldn't offer buying points if it were advantageous to the player. Its like buying insurance in bj , terrible bet. Some people are set in there ways and no talkin sense to them.

ZERO .. 3 pushes 1 that closed at line you bought to and 1 that closed at a higher line than you bought it to?? with 8 losers at an average -120(even though you lay 130 135 140 sometimes) . So you are 18-8-3. instead of 19-9-1. AT $$100 reg juice you are up $910 in these games. Or buying points(-120) you are up $840.. just showing you the math bro, dont take it personal. Stay hot i might just bet the games you buy points on.

Nothing personal at all Mac....great info actually!! I think the controversy of buying points or not is just as controversial as whether sports are fixed or not. Many many different opinions. I actually like hearing different views on it all
Another St MARYS outcome with Iona tonight....line opened -6 got pushed to -8.5. Iona up big at HT...cruised 2nd half lost the big lead win by 6!! Jus sayn
