they better be serious..and if they are it still doesn't make a cover more likely
one thing we are dealing w/a -15 which creates a likelyhood of that courtesy TD that cuts the 20 point lead to 13 and all the home boys eat the ticket..
secondly while a victory is certainly important for that first round bye the health of the club is a big priority..
this club is a losing team w/out the "D" specialist Troy Polamalu ..history has proven that Pitt is at risk of an early exit in the playoffs without him..thus he will sit the next 2 games..
may cover this -15 tonite..but ...
..this team has issue on the Offense and they need to get them solved to have any chance of going into New England and coming away w/a victory..
Pitt. has to establish a running some time between now and their road playoff game..
Running means..:00x29
and less likely a cover..the size of 16..
which means ya gotta have that third unanswered score..

When Polamalu's been out they're 5-7, yielding an average of 23.1 points
will Pitt lose this game...million to one against..
but tack on 15 to a 17 and asking Pitt. to score 33 points is a lot..twice this year they scored 33 or better..and none within the last 4 weeks..averaging only 18 points a game their last 4 games..
