New York won its first game with Bure on Tuesday against Toronto. Pavel's return should boost this team's confidence. Buffalo has been idle for 4 days. I think this early season layoff will lead to some rustiness tonight. The Rangers won the season series last year (3-0-1)
Capitals -105 ML*
Carolina has scored 8 goals in 4 games. Washington has scored 7 goals in 2 games. Carolina is 3 for 32 on the power play so far this season. Ouch! The only thing that prevents me from putting more money on the Caps, is Carolina's recent domination of Southeast Division opponents, including the Capitals. Carolina won the season series last year (2-1-2)

Texas i saw this in Highrollers thread also and everywhere ive looked i found Carolina winning last years series 2-1-2 also.

The funny thing is, it's not even a big deal at all. Just bugging me that it's so hard to find out accurate info from last year. Anyways, went to Carolina's website, and it also shows the same results that I pasted from covers earlier. So I'm pretty sure that's what it was.
