I admit that I'm a big fan of Bruce Arians. he's done a great job wherever he's been and I am glad that he's finally secured a head coaching position. The man has paid his dues and I like the Cards tonight. Here are the reasons.
Az is generally a tough out at home
Az has taken 4 of last 5 straight up between the two at home.
Az was pasted 58-zip in the last meeting at Sea. At that point Whisenhunt had lost his team and received little effort from his players. Major motivating factor for Arians and the players that experienced the humiliation. In that tilt AZ committed 8 turnovers, yes 8.
Az defense matches up well with the strength of Sea which is running the football. Az giving up a very respectable 3.5 yards a carry and only 2 TDs all season. If they force Wilson to try to beat them through the air the Cards may be in good shape.
Prime time home dog is in most cases a nice play. Sea will get the Cards best shot.
