I'm from North Missouri about 90 miles from Kansas City. To say I am an avid Chiefs fan, and am very excited about the team's start this season would be an understatement !! Everyone around these parts is very excited the team has already matched last year's win total !!!
I went to the Chiefs game Sunday against the Cowboys. I was not that impressed with either teams. The Cowboys offense looked putrid, which in turn made the Chiefs defense look good. Basically the same story as when the Chiefs played the Jaguars. The Chiefs had a good offensive drive to start the game, but that was about it. Their only other TD drive was set up by the turnover the Cowboys had near midfield.
This is how I see it so far this season :
Eagles killed the Redskins, who we all know are struggling early this season. Eagles then lost to the Chargers, who should have beat the Texans in Week 1.
Chiefs killed the Jaguars, who we know are pitiful. They then eeked out the win against the Cowboys, who beat the Giants in Week 1. If it hadn't been for all the turnovers by the Giants, the Cowboys would have lost that one. I don't think the Cowboys are that good, and the Chiefs struggled with them at home.
Bottom line: I am much more confident in laying my $$$ on the Eagles than the Chiefs. And with the game being in Philly, it's a no brainer for me !!!
Eagles (-165) ... 825/500
Under 51 ... 175/150
I see a 27-17 type game.
