Is there a way to be an observer? I've never played in a tournament or for real money online and I'd like to have some idea what to expect and/or how to act before I make a complete fool of myself. Also, I've never gambled online and don't have a clue about how to set up an account. Any guidance or suggestions are appreciated!

Things are pretty easy to setup an account. Over to the left on this site you will see a link that says neteller, they act as a third party to transfer money from your bank account to pokerstars, similar to paypal but better support and security. I have used neteller for over 3 years.

I am not sure if you can observe a private tourney but you could probably sit at a table and not actually take a seat in the regular hold em area.

To get a feel you might downlad the software and play with play money although everyone tends to play real loose and not realistic in the play rooms.

I myself will probably play in one here soon

Jack--Would it be allright to make a suggestion. Ok, then I will. How about having the tournaments run just like you are now, and then having a final table with all of the winners from one week play for a spot at the Super Bowl party or something like that.

sounds good, dawgball. i'll give it serious thought and i'm also working on other prizes as well, over and above what we have now.

vanurse, just download the program from their site and go play around. you'll figure it out, i'm sure. use play money games until you get a feel for the software and then make a decision if you want to play for real money. they also have "free roll" tournaments that cost nothing to play and could, if you're lucky, lead to nice prizes.

good luck

wareagle, go to their cashier, click on deposit and scroll to neteller. you won't need the merchant code and the deposit is immediate.

i was wondering when you would show up.

good luck

Jack

VANurse- Yes, you can watch these private tourneys. I've checked out a couple of these MJ ones in the past week. Just go to the Tourney:private tab, find the Madjack Tourney listing, open the window and click observe table.

You won't be able to chat in it without a funded account, but you can definately watch it.

wareagle, just yesterday i made a withdrawal from party and it was approved in less than 10 minutes and was in my neteller account about 5 hours after that. i did not get the usual email from neteller saying that i received money but it is sitting there.

How come we are back to 10 pm tonight?
I really liked the 9 pm start time for work reasons.
