georgia tech (+4) 2 units. ok, everybody knows the jackets ran for 472 yards on the hurricanes last year. but everybody seems to think that will motivate the 'canes this year. really? so they weren't motivated at all last year? let's face it, miami's roster is full of undisciplined players. what do you need to stop the option? discipline. tonight you've got paul johnson getting points from randy shannon. i'll take that every time.
miami won at florida state. wow, that's a huge win. miami is back!!! wait a minute, is that the same fsu team that WAS LOSING AT HOME IN THE FINAL MINUTE TO JACKSONVILLE STATE??? now, for all i know, jacksonville st could be a very nice... D1 AA team? but seriously? coincindentally, georgia tech played that same jax st team and beat them by 20 (after jax st scored a garbage td with 45 seconds remaining). still not a huge win, but more impressive than what fsu did to them.
it boils down to whether or not you think miami has any better chance of stopping the option than they did last year. if you think 'yes', then jump on the hurricanes. i'll take the yellow jackets.
