Without Jeff Garcia in the lineup for the 49ers,
they'll have to use three inexperienced QBs -- Tim
Rattay, Brandon Doman and Ken Dorsey.

Dorsey threw a pair of TD passes last week, but that
was against a Kansas City defense that took a long
look at backup DBs who did not get a chance to play
in the Chiefs' first pre-season game that was cut
short after three quarters.

Today they play a secondary that likes to take
chances. When a gambling secondary does that against
young QBs, they usually get picks. As long as they
aren't run back for TDs, that should keep the score
down.

I just heard on the radio Garcia is starting?? but if he does i can't imagine it won't be for long.

Ain't no way Garcia's playing tonight. There WAS a wire story earlier today that said he'd start opening day, so someone misread that.
