ARIZONA (Halsey) +170 over HOUSTON (Clemens)

Roger Clemens is pitching as well now as he ever has,
but he's been undermined by a total lack of run support,
and that has cost his backers plenty (-$300). Arizona has
fared well vs. righthanders (19-14, +$510) while Houston
checks in with a dismal 3-10 record against southpaws
(-$855) averaging just 2.8 runs per game in those contests.
Brad Halsey has flashed some fine form (3.83 ERA) so why
not take the fat underdog price against the underachieving
home team?

Be careful. In most of those losses againsts lefties Houston was on the road where they are 2-16, they are 13-8 at home. Those losses came to some pretty good pitchers too, Mulder, Milton, O. Perez to name a few. Also, Clemens lack of run support has been a result of running into a tough hurler on the other side. Mulder, Hudson, Maddox were opposing pitchers in those no decisions/loss that Clemens has had.

Stro's this year at home vs lefties....

vs Fassero 9-0 W (don't think any win against this rag should be in the books)
vs Rueter 4-2 L
vs Redman 6-4 L (w/Clemens)
vs Davis 8-7 W
vs Milton 5-2 W

let's not forget Clemens BA and his park is very hitter friendly

Methinks Ray could be on the right side in this LONE game on tonights card. The Stro's and the Under look like free money to many.
