Preseason Record 2-0 +6.3 units

I am trying something new, don't know if it will work, and I don't have any past stats, but my theory is that in presason the offenses don't show much to begin with, but I think that becomes even more exaggerated when the two teams playing in the preseason play each other in the regular season. That situation applies here in the NYG/NE game, so I am playing under 34 for 1 unit. See if it pans out, who knows:shrug:

I actually have some data in regards to teams who will meet in the regular season.

Of course, vanilla game plans would be expected, BUT, you would assume the linesmakers know this too. 34? Pretty low total if you ask me, they aren't doing you a favor, are they?

Since 1998, teams meeting in the 1st 4 weeks of the regular season who meet in the preseason are 11-8-0 (O/U/P). This does not cover teams meeting at any time during the regular season. Still, if your hypothesis on teams going vanilla with upcoming matchups leading to unders were true, you would surely expect those teams meeting almost off the bat to go under. I would tread carefully here. This one is factored in. Good luck.

I am not betting big on it, just putting some small wagers in and tracking it and see how it does. If it doesn't work out then back to the drawing board. Thanks for the info from ly though.
