Well Blackman I like the Leafs +1.5 ($1.87/-115), but everybody and their dog is on the Wings -1.5. Obviously I am biased. Yes, the Leafs are not a very good team but I think they will be a good team to bet on for the value. Everyone thinks they are terrible, yes they aren't very good, but not terrible. I think they will actually squeak into the playoffs this year. Anyway, from a gambling perspective they will be a good doggie play this year:SIB
Thanks for the input Kick. Admittedly I know don't know much about the NHL, and my "unit" size is about a 1/5 of what it is for football. Just find it to be a fun sport to watch here and there.

Sorry Blackman......I had to come in here and give ya the ever popular "prick post". I know it is only the first game of the season, but the Leafs are not as bad as many experts say they are. These guys are a bunch of nobodies that work hard. I'm telling ya, this is a good value team to wager on this year.

Good call :00hour Have to say, that's was a solid play. No offense taken, like I said NHL is a fun diversion for me when the action is slow (and actually saved me some loot as I almost took Clemson tonight) Looks like you've got a scrappy team up North, hope they keep it going.
