after last nite's power-outage, let's hope Oakland will get back on track.

4) taking Houston: D Mlicki -105 over pitts
after getting murdered by ST.LOO, let's see what this Houston team is made of when they face the "tought at home" piratez. Should be a good one.

5) the get me into the green pick.
taking Los Angeles: E Gagne -135 (2 unitz) vs colorado.
after Milwaukee finally broke that losing spell, watch L.A take it out on colorado at home. L.A lost some ground on Arizona...this
is the time to make it up.

3 unitz on M's is more than enough. KC's rookie had some fine numbers in the minors and Pineiro is not a Cy Young candidate yet.

For that kind of wood, you could buy yourself a bunch of Schilling or watch Nomo take a Halladay tonight.

Having said all that, I believe I am about 4-20 the past few days, or worse.

I am thankful though, if I had laid the high chalk on the favs the last few days, i'd be in worse trouble...glad I took the -1.5's.

my rule of thumb is, if the high chalk is warranted, then the fav should win by atleast -1.5 and if they don't, i don't get burned. The only high chalk I'll be on would be Randy Johnson or Roger CLemeons,even more so if they respective teams had lost the nite before.

but that's just me.

and i'm going to try to surprise her with a one week, all inclusive honeymoon to Fiji.

depending on how well my bankroll is for NCAA/NFL,NBA, bases, hockey, AFL and NRL,and european soccer so I'm hoping you guys can lead me into the sunset next year...

well, REVENGE OF THE VIGILANTE day was a great success...let's do the math:

1) OAKLAND -1.5 (really, i can't say how much i LOVE the -1.5 line when a HUGE fav loses....) : LOST -100

2)houston : WON +100

3) TOR UNDER 10 : WON +200
was sweating that one till the end..damn bullpens...but still, a win is a win.

4) LA : WON +200

5) SEATTLE (FINALLY, THEY CAME THROUGH!!!)
WON : +300

4-1 +7.00 unitz.
(got back 7 of the 12 unitz i had lost yesterday.)
The last two days have taught me a lesson:
"The gambling gods taketh and then they giveth back."

this was a very humbling experience.

now let's calculate madjacks' quotient:
4-1 (using 1 unit per pick) : +3.00 unitz.

now, all i have to do is find a way to get back that +5.00 I lost yesterday...and i think i have..stay tuned to Friday's early leans.
