Going to start with leans and will finalize plays tomorrow...

Wisky vs. Syracuse - This is the round Syracuse always loses, but this isn't exactly Wisky's ideal round either. First glance, tough game to call, but leaning Badgers at the moment. Just feel the Badgers are built to face a zone defense fairly well since they shoot so many treys plus they're so well coached. Still tough to buck a Syracuse team which is so deep and will also be ready. However, initial lean is grab the points. Big 10 also hasn't been too bad this post season. One other thing is Wisky plays a sticky man-to-man defense which gives up the fewest amount of points in college hoops and I think Syracuse will really struggle scoring. I see grabbing the points being very smart.

Cincy vs. Ohio State - I know Jord loves this to be a slaughter, but I'm not so sure. Cincy is a very streaky team and Ohio State winning by 9+ could be difficult. Need to study this matchup far more before making a play. Yancy Gates can matchup with Sullinger and the rest depends on Cincy's trey balls falling which at times can be lethal (don't really like asking Ohio State to ask by 9) Teams have only played one time in the past 50 years despite being in-state.

Florida vs. Marquette - Gators sure looked good last weekend, but initial lean is to Marquette even with the distractions for Marquette. Game being played in Phoenix so guessing more Marquette fans.

Michigan State vs. Louisville - Initial lean Cardinals as they're great traditionally in Sweet 16 and believe the overachieving Spartans will have a tough time winning by 6+...

Interesting we have 4 Big East schools and 3 Big 10 schools going tomorrow night. Realize they were the top 2 conferences this year with either Big 12 or ACC being 3rd & 4th (I think Big 12 might have been 3rd). Will have plays tomorrow as these are initial plays without much research.

Just looking at more things before bed and really liking Wisky +4 or more, Cincy +8 or more (I know Jord this could be a route, but why???), Louisville +5 or more (I know Meech a gan State is from the Big 10, but are they really very good... is Izzo with one title really more special than Pitino with one title?... doesn't L'ville have the quickest PG in Siva who will give MSU trouble) & really like Marquette (Florida looked so good in rounds 1 & 2, so now they're awesome despite sucking so much down the stretch).... Trying hard to find reasons to go against my leans... please tell me what I'm missing... also, most of my leans have the line moving against me if anything.

Syracuse will have no problem scoring if Badgers go man to man. They can get in the lane anytime. Zone is the way to defend SU. Make them play on the perimeter.

SU is playing the "nobody believes in us card" Don't see them losing here.

Now Ohio St is another story.

DD...thanks for the writeups.

I am a Bucky fan and I am a little concerned about them tonight. Vandy went into a 2-3 zone in the middle of the 2nd half and the Badgers looked like they had no idea. I think I recall them only once getting a paint touch for a back door layup, all other possessions were passing top to top until someone felt like shooting a long ball.

If you recall Vandy was down near double digits and got back in the game because Wisconsin kept missing shots.

With that said, if Bucky makes their outside shots and makes and effort to get the ball inside vs. the Cuse zone, they have a great shot to win. If not, I could see Cuse rebounding and runniing on the other end and getting an insurmountable lead.

I like Marquette despite everyone thinking that the news about them will be a distraction (too good defensively and will out-physical the Gators.

The other two games haven't got a handle on yet, but probably MSU and Ohio St if I had to pick.

GOOD LUCK!

Agree completely with syracuse scoring. I am not sure on the line yet but def. like the over 120.5 in this game. Seeing about 130 syracuse can score and wisconsin has actually gotten out of the 40s in the tournament so far.

D- good luck this weekend. I always like reading your stuff.

Frankly, I am glad that guys like you like the Bearcats. Most people do. You are a face-value type guy. You see Cinncy's recent play and Ohio St's and it is tough for you to see a 9 point game. I will get into some matchups and a few more details on the game itself...

but I love the line. They could have made this line 5 easily. It is high for a reason. All the experts, and Buckeye fans for that matter, are talking about how tough this game is and how cinn can win.

As my boy Lee Corso would say... NOT SO FAST MY FRIEND.

I REALLY see a 21 point victory. I have been wrong before and will be wrong again, but I really think this one is right. LAY IT.

See my thread later for some more breakdown. I don't think the breakdown is even the key here (although it does exist heavily in OSU's favor)... the line is.

I agree 100%. Ohio St blows em out of the arena. Florida blow out as well.

2nd half Parlay L'ville +6 & Under 65.5 1.5* to win 4.1* - Small play, but really like the Cards to win a 52-46 type game... Spartans look really off tonight and hoping it continues for 20 more minutes.

Well Teemo, I sure hope you're wrong on those predictions... maybe karma bites you for coming in someone's thread and telling him his plays are going to get slaughtered... of course maybe you're correct as well, we'll see what happens!

Well 1-0 and hopefully 2-0 with Louisville having a nice lead... kind of worried about late games, but hopefully a 1-1 split at worse and 3-1 winning day. Would love to get L'ville parlay 2nd half, but doesn't look great as Michigan State will be fouling like crazy.

Not a person to count a loss early, but Cincy is in huge trouble. Appear happy just to be here and not hustling or rebounding with the more athletic and bigger Buckeyes. Think Jord and Teemo might be right on this game.

Under 67.5 2nd half Cincy vs. Ohio State for 1* - Tried to talk myself into Cincy, but couldn't... Still hoping for a 65-59 final where Ohio State gets ice cold!:0074 :00hour

Marquette 2nd half -2 (-105) for 2.2* - Just a feeling they make a run and they have been a 2nd half team all season. Can't shoot 11 of 40 from the field again, will hopefully not! I still think Marquette might win this game... still don't feel good about Cincy covering as they're falling apart right now... Buckeyes on a nice run.:soapbox:
