power ball

power ball

reds +140 powerball ;)

Brandon Claussen is best defined as a sleeper. A glance at his
overall numbers (11-10, +$265, 4.50 ERA) won't cause much of
a reaction one way or another, but it is important to place those
numbers in context. The Reds play in a whiffle ball park built to
produce dingers that fill the seats. But when Claussen has
pitched somewhere other than Great American Ballpark or Coors
Field, he has been nasty, allowing just 9 ER in 41 IP (1.89 ERA).
Livan Hernandez is in a serious slump. Since July 31, the
rubber-armed Cuban has served up 45 H, 21 ER and 10 BB in
29.2 IP, striking out 15. That represents an astronomical .500 BAA
and 1.85 WHIP, which will not get the job done, especially with the
Nats' timid offense. Washington has some good numbers at home
versus southpaws but most of those stats were compiled when they
were surging earlier in the year and winning lots of close games.
The scenery has changed and they can no longer win consistently
when producing so few runs.
