Back after a long hiatus. Without internet access for almost a month. Let's cash some tickets tonight!

D'Backs (Johnson) -245 @ Reds (Dempster)

The Reds are really pressing right now. Their deficit in the playoff race continues to increase. Tough task to turn it around against the "Big Unit." Arizona is playing loose and with a lot of confidence. Can't see the D'Backs not getting the three-game sweep tonight.

Back later with more plays. Good luck!

Padres (Tomko) +145 @ Mets (Thomson)

The Mets came into this season with high expectations. Now that they find themselves out of the playoff race, they have decided to mail it in. This team is just going through the motions. I see a lot of people on New York today. How could anyone bet on these underachievers right now? Good luck!

Astros (Saarloos) +140 @ Cubs (Prior)

Houston is hot! I think the 'Stros will eventually get the wildcard spot in the NL. If anyone saw the Cubs/Astros game yesterday, then you know Chicago is playing with little intensity. Houston will play relaxed ball today, having already won the series. Good luck!

(1-1, +.5 unit) on early plays

Blum needs to take the letter l out of his last name. What a pitiful performance on his part (0-5, 4 strikeouts, stranded 7 base runners). Oh well, looking forward to tonight. Good luck!

Dodgers (Daal) +120 @ Expos (Vazquez)

I think the Expos had their hearts set on trying to sweep this series in order to get back into the wildcard race. Montreal must be somewhat deflated after losing the middle game with its ace on the mound (Colon). Dodgers take the rubber game tonight.

Twins (Lohse) -160 vs. Orioles (Johnson)

Minnesota was swept by Baltimore a week ago at Camden Yards. The Twins aren't going to let the sub .500 Orioles come into their house and take another series from them are they?

Good luck!

Giants (Schmidt) +120 @ Braves (Moss)

Like San Francisco in the rubber match against the rookie. Both teams playing well, Giants need this game more than the Braves. Good luck!

Red Sox (Fossum) +155 @ Seattle (Garcia)

Value is too good to pass up in this one. Garcia has not been himself this year. Don't see him turning it around against a formidable Red Sox lineup. Good luck!
