Thanks Spock. Just playing on paper now and riding coat-tails to make sure I know what I'm doing. Will definetly be asking questions about customer-friendly sportsbooks and what's the best way to set it up. Rather do it that way way than deal with a local. GL

SPOCK: Where do u get the UNDER plays for one single team?

Some night my sportsbook gives them but of the time they aren'T available.

Could of made myself a little richer tonight with that possibility and your plays!

hey bud

get them @ Olympic .. They put up the individual team totals up around 9 am ..

I am @ work then so have to rush in the evening to make the plays. :D

I can select sides nicely but play only totals .. dont even know why myself ..

advantage of team totals is that u dont have to pay a price for the mistake of the other team ..

like the Under in Pitts/Toronto game. Got screwed becoz Toronto scored 4 ..

U can get screwed by empty netter but thats why u gotta be selective about which team mebbe leading at end of third ..

good luck
Spock

Hit the huge play on SA / Portland Under 45 Points Third Q

Lost the Spurs Game over due to horrible shooting by both teams in the first half .. lost that play by 5 points ..

Ending day up 8.31 % or so :D
Starting balance: $500
Ending balance : $2375.25

Good luck

I use Olympic but when I went to check out the Under for Islanders, one of your picks that made a lot of sense to me, they did not have it anymore. I have seen it in the past but this time when I wanted to act on it, it wasn't there. I guess it was bad luck again that hit me! Thanks... I will check earlier tomorrow.

Your right not getting screwed by the other team and empty-net goals...

By the way... nice going with your plays tonight! Continued success to you!

Thanx bud

When u log into olympic:

IF u click on Hockey on the left menu ---> Today's Plays ---> U will see the listing for today --> Click on the Team u wanna bet on [lets say Islanders] --> It will show u choices :

Islanders ML
Islanders -1/2

Islanders Team Total Over 3
Islanders Team Total Under 3

etc etc.

If u go another way u cannot see these options unless u click on Team totals.

btw: how is ESPN Insider. Never tried it. Is it really helpful ?

Thanks. I think that's the way I usually do it but as I said I will check it out at least an hour beofre a game tomorrow.

I've been using it for over 1 year now and it is has been a great tool to get accurate info about each individual teams on Game Day. What it is basically is a service that gets all the newspaper articles that are published on a team. The kind of info I get is lines the coach will use, expected goalies, injuries, feeling around the team (if the players are pumped or not) and special tidbits of news that sometimes help you decide on your pick. Some newspapers offer more info than others for example, the coverage in Montreal is much better and informative than the coverage in Columbus. They also get deeper in specific subjects such as trade talks and other topics that come about in a season. For $40 US per year, I think it is a small expense for added value in my hockey opinions. You can also use it for NBA, NFL and MLB.

Hope this gives you a good idea. If you need more info, don't hesitate to let me know.
