Denver, Colorado
Interesting Stats:

- Tonight's game marks the 42nd meeting between these two franchises
- The Avalanche franchise owns a 26-10-4-1 overall record against the Sharks...11-3-4-1 on home ice
- Colorado is 21-8-4-1 against San Jose since 1995-96...8-3-4-1 on home ice...1-1-3-0 at Pepsi Center

And the kicker . . .

- Patrick Roy is 23-6-4 against the Sharks with 1.65 GAA and 5 SOs...it's Roy's lowest GAA against any NHL team with 20+ career starts...his five career shutouts matches his high against any NHL club (Buffalo)
