I personally love the Twins left-handed batting line-up vs. right-handed pitching-- especially at home. Let's not forget, this is the defending AL Central playoff team from last year getting no respect at home against a young Mariner starter. Gil Meche has responded well off of injury this year to start the season 6-2 with a 2.86 ERA in 9 starts. In 56.2 innings pitched, Meche has been very productive and efficient. This youngster is very intelligent and really knows how to pitch. I expect to see another solid outing from him, but I believe the Twins will eventually get him. The Twins bats have been facing formidable pitching for the last few series. After taking 2 of 3 from the A's, the Twins bats come in with a ton of confidence. Anticipate the Twinkies making the correct adjustments to Meche after the first time thru the line-up. The Twins at home with some extra money is a good proposition to me.
