System Play of the Year
At 8:00 PM, our 5* System Play of the Year is on the San Antonio Spurs over the Lakers, as Gregg Popovich's men fall into an awesome Playoff system that has NEVER LOST since 1990. It's a perfect 11-0 SU and ATS, and what we want to do is play on any home team that has lost 2 or more games in a row, if they were on a 6-game (or better) winning streak prior to their current losing streak. On average, these home teams have won by 16 points per game, while being favored by just 5.5 points. With the Spurs current 2-game skein following 17 victories in a row, look for San Antonio to blow out Los Angeles on Thursday night. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

Thursday Analysis
SAN ANTONIO (-5) 93 L.A. Lakers 85
The Lakers held serve at home with two wins, which was a bit surprising to me since the Spurs were in good situations in both games. There are no general playoff situations favoring either team in this game, but the Lakers continue to be a different team away from home. Los Angeles is just 14-31 ATS on the road this season, including a pair of 10 point losses in the first two games of this series. The Lakers are even worse on the road after a victory (6-21 ATS) and they?re only 2-10 ATS as a road underdog, so competing with good teams on the road has been even tougher for L.A. My ratings favor the Spurs by 6 ? points and they have a solid 55% chance of covering the spread in this game.
