Nothing like watching 6 hours of (winning) baseball all the while tripping out to some killer quitar instumentals that you've never heard before. Sums up my last 7, now, hours. Check out Buckethead if you like guitar. All styles.
Anyway, even somehow topped Tuesday's plus.
This disastrous August is going away quickly.
Will again allow system numbers to convince me where to action. Saved me from an iffy (losing) A's major-lean yesterday and is also helping me out sweetly on the totals. Last year the numbers seemed skewed towards under-calls but some minor adjustments have things seemingly more coherent. Quiet with totals today.
mets 70%(-149)+10
Padres 57%(-106)+5
...over6.5 51%(whatever)
Astros 69%(-155)+8
cubs 62%(-130)+5
rays 65%(-125)+9
reds 56%(+111)+8
d'backs 55%(-138)-3
Marlins 57%(-112)+4
Keep me off the D'Backs today. Minor lean, anyway.
Couple calls look a little high. Shields kinda stinks on the road. Still looks like value as A'sticks have been putrid for a good stretch.
Trying them all save last 2.
Mets, Astros and Rays hardest.
Medium Padres and Cubs.
Small Reds.
Also like the Tigers over4.5 runs and, a little less, the Phillies over3.5 runs. Decent umps for both, especially for the Tigers, further not to mention that Litsch struggles seem quite probable. Would try that Comerica game over but Galarraga smokes in the daytime and shut Jays down earlier.
All I got for today.
This is enjoyable again.
