Miami-Fla. beats West Virginia 31-14 in Russell Athletic Bowl. The ViewFromVegas is the Hurricanes also covered as 3-point favorites and the game stayed under the betting total of 58. Bowl underdogs had a five-game cover streak snapped (and a 13-1 ATS run) but are still 17-6 ATS (73.9 percent). Unders improve to 14-9 (60.9 percent).

South Florida beats South Carolina 46-39 in overtime of the Birmingham Bowl. The ViewFromVegas is the Bulls (who squandered an 18-point lead in the fourth quarter) did NOT cover as 10.5-point favorites and the game went over the closing total of 59.5 points. So, underdogs are on an 8-1 ATS run and improve to 20-6 ATS (76.9 percent) overall in bowl games. The under dips to 15-12 (57.7 percent).
