Can NC State look any worse than they looked last Saturday? No play at this time as NC State's lack of ball handling is going to hurt this team all season. However, I would expect the Wolfpack to give 100% after getting destroyed. I also believe the line is a bit inflated due to their shellacking last Saturday.

Also, I think you might be over-reacting to Michigan State's performance @ Iowa. Just my $.02, but the Spartans will come ready to play after 36 point effort vs. Iowa. I'm not saying they will cover.

i'm not overreacting to anything. and i don't think the clemson line's inflated at all. nc state has had one impressive game--where they played out of their minds against davidson--and won by one by getting to the line about 20 more times than the wildcats... same versus cincy, the bearcats got robbed by the refs. clemson's got what it takes to pull away at home and will do it.

i may have played michigan state once or twice this year (really early) but i have not liked them at all this year and have refrained from touching their games. it's finally starting to ring true that they are overrated by the books and probably get too much credit from the public. i think both teams come ready to play and we get a good game out of it. (p/r... 78.4 at 79.3) line opened at 9.0 and moved quickly down to 7.5--had to get on it before it dropped to 6.

We'll see what happens, but you're plays are very much what a novice gambler would take.

Novice gamblers tend to over-react to a team's performance in their previous game.

Gambling 101 would say:
1) Never bet against a team based on their performance in their previous game. Some teams don't show up to play some nights.
2) Don't over-react to the results of a team's previous game.

I'm not saying you won't cover, but betting against NC State and Michigan State because they looked so bad over the weekend might be a trap. We'll see what happens tonight.

I also appreciate your input as you have done well this season and work you tail off capping these games.

By the way, Ohio State is now 8 and 8.5 at some books.

did you even read my reply? neither is based on the single previous performance. it's based on the season.

"nc state has had one impressive game--where they played out of their minds against davidson--and won by one by getting to the line about 20 more times than the wildcats... same versus cincy, the bearcats got robbed by the refs. clemson's got what it takes to pull away at home and will do it.

how are either of those based on one previous game? thanks though. i'm guessin' you're on the other sides, so looks like one of us will win and one will lose.

You novice gambler, you!

Somebody got their feelings hurt when Tig3rs put the whammy on their team it looks like.

Anyhow, what did I tell you about betting against Clemson? Don't do it!

YOU KNOW IT WAS THE RIGHT PLAY! i avoided the charlotte game properly and clemson should've won the fsu game in regulation (but either way, how the f do you lose by 12 in OT?!) i just got unlucky.

why do you think miami is a 6-10 or 7-9 ACC team? they'll take both from GT, MD, (maybe va tech), there's 5. split with UVA (or sweep), split with FSU, Wake, there's 8.
don't think they'll beat unc or duke and probably not clemson. i'll take em at -110 to get 8 wins.

same for BC, they could lose all 6 to unc/duke/clemson, too, and then just drop 2 on the road (to fsu or wake or virginia) and they're at 8 Ls.

holla back.

I took Cincy +12, Kentucky +10, Ohio State +9, and Miami ML with you. Also played Colorado small. My nickel plays were Cincy, Kentucky, Ohio State, and Creighton ML. Hopefully we'll both have a good night.

Sorry about giving you trouble about your plays and using the term novice gambler, but just wanted to make a point that judging a team by one bad game is a poor way to handicap. Hopefuly you get Clemson, but I would have gone the other way, but didn't play it.

What do you like as a middle number on the KY game? I got them at -8 now it's KY +10. That gives a 2pt middle. Maybe I play KY +10. But KY is playing so bad on the rd. Something to think about. I have the game capped at 11.5pts. I think that -10 is close.

I don't think Miss. State is very good. Sure they could win easily vs. Kentucky, but I like backing a home dog coming off a conference win and then getting double digits on the road.
