I don't like Miami for a few reasons. They remind of the Clemson teams with Will Solomon running around taking 40 shots per game. Jack McClinton is good, but he ain't that good.
Simply put, I don't think they have the makeup to win on the road. Not enough consistent scoring on the inside and I don't like their point guard situation.
I don't think it's a given that they'll sweep anybody. Until I see them win a couple road games, I'll remain skeptical. They'll be pretty tough in the convocation center, but I see them in the 6-7 ACC wins range. That's not to say that they'll be blown out all the time, either. Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think they've got it.
Time will tell. Anyway - Charlotte at Clemson was the lock of the century. If it hadn't been the first day of classes, I'd have called you. I didn't even see the line until I got home after the game. Charlotte is a pretty good basketball team. Add in the letdown factor, PLUS the fact that Clemson's players were adjusting the first day of being up at 7AM for classes and having to sit through that shit all day. Simply put, perfect storm.
Good luck, glad to see you hitting some winners.
