Why does Corey Pavin keep talking about this and that about if he is going to have Woods on the team???

IT IS NOT UP TO HIM!

Sure he is the one that gets the credit for picking the guys, but come on.

Do you really think the networks are going to let Pavin leave Woods off the team.
It has been proven OVER AND OVER again that Woods=ratings and NO Woods=no ratings.
The ratings are just about the only thing that drives golf these days.

It is more likely Favre will retire than Woods will be left off the team.

No matter what happens though, Pavin has ZERO say in adding Woods to the team. :director:

Not sure anyone else heard Bubba Watson right after he lost the playoff.

His first question almost seconds after losing was "Am I on the Ryder Cup team?"

WTF??

When told he was he said it was more important to him to make the Ryder Cup team than win the PGA Championship.

Since when is making the Ryder team more important than winning a major???????????????

Like most things in life, it would depend on individual preference. Like you, I would prefer to win a major, even though this is the crappiest major by a mile.

Dustin Johnson said he was worried about it more than winning as well. :shrug:

To each their own, but Johnson went from winning $1.3M to winning $270k :scared , but hey at least you made the Ryder team.
