Favours Tigers tomorrow, IMO.
Already locked and loaded on them...small, though; Carmona with pretty deadly day numbers last couple seasons and a solid showing early this season vs.
Indians hot-hitting lately, too.
So dem Tigers.
Verlander to, hopefully, bounce back.

P.S.
I got tigers over4 so I sure hope this doesn't get suspended.

crap
unreal
they play in less than 12 hours so this 13th is likely it.
lucky number for me so let's see a final.

ump Bell a bit of an under-lean.
wouldn't touch it with Carmona struggling yet capable.
same with Verlander off a crappy start and Injuns hitting.
over, maybe, though Bell might not help.
I've been riding Tigers team totals over since the break.
Only missed once in about the past week.
4.5 -118
Went 5-0 on team totals Wednesday.
Have the Yanks ov4.5 so far.
Should grab that Tigers over already.

Until we see the starting lineup for Detroit:

http://www.mlive.com/tigers/index.ssf/2008/07/leyland_indians_lee_has_been_a.html

Odds & ends
Right fielder Magglio Ordonez, catcher Ivan Rodriguez, second baseman Placido Polanco and designated hitter Sheffield will all get Thursday's day game off, and Brandon Inge will play third base today to give Carlos Guillen a break. ... First baseman Miguel Cabrera, named American League Player of the Week for last week and also on April 21, became the first Tiger to win the honor twice in a season since outfielder Bobby Higginson in 2000. ... Eddie Bonine, who was briefly Detroit's fifth starter, was named International League Pitcher of the Week by going 2-0 with a 1.26 ERA and striking out 12. ... Leyland canceled on-field batting practice and allowed players to arrive later than usual at the ballpark Tuesday after noting the "blah" look of his team the night before. "We've got a long trip ahead of us," Leyland said. Detroit plays two more in Cleveland before playing three at Tampa Bay and three at Chicago against the White Sox. With the Tigers scoring eight runs Tuesday night, he said batting practice will be skipped again tonight. Though, the players took cuts at the indoor cages Tuesday and will again tonight.

tigers log:

PREGAME: Anyone else still tired from last night? Hopefully Justin Verlander went home early and got a good night?s sleep. The Tigers used 10 innings worth of bullpen last night and need Verlander to be more efficient than his 110 pitch, 4 inning outing against the White Sox. The Tigers bullpen presumably consists of Freddy Dolsi, Joel Zumaya, and Clay Rapada who was activated with Todd Jones hitting the DL.
