Leyland said he planned to give Magglio Ordonez, Chris Shelton and Pudge Rodriguez the day off today, although there was a chance that Rodriguez would have to play because backup catcher Vance Wilson stepped on a ball and slightly twisted an ankle. Leyland said that Jack Hannahan would make his big-league debut as the Tigers' first baseman.

This team my not win another game all year, the linesmaker may take them off the board shortly, fade them while to can, ML, RL go over the total...everything no matter the price.
