I originally posted this in Dubber's thread....

been a great year with everyone in the Box, looking forward to doing this again next year.

I put 4 dimes on the Devils to win the cup after tonights game at -180. I know that it is a shitty price and the Ducks are capable of winning and Ottawa definitely could win 3 in a row .

But............ had a great year and a nice playoff run, the way I look at it is I break even for the playoffs if the Devils do not win the cup. I honestly think the Devils are a better team and brodeur can match Jiggy.

I am not going to be posting the rest of the playoffs because I do not want to go below the break even point but I will pop in here once and awhile.

Chenks, first things first. Fawking great news!!!!!! Mucho Congrats on the baby to you and Mrs Chenks. As a father of a beautiful 3yr old and 1yr old, I can tell you there's simply no greater joy in life than seeing the little one come into this world. BUT! My advice to you guys is, and I wish someone had told us when Mrs Dubber got prego, is that spend as much quality time with Mrs Chenks as you can for the next 9 months. Once the little one is born, your whole world changes, as you'll be spending most of your free time on Baby Chenks. But I wouldn't change a thing if I had to do it all over again, well, except before the baby was born. I never knew what "unconditional love" was until the 1st Baby Dubber was born

Throughout this pucks season, I probably interacted with you the most out of anyone here. And I honestly mean it when I say it has been my utmost pleasure to call you my friend. I enjoyed talking hockey with you immencely, whether we agreed or agreed to disagree, especially when I'm primarily a doggy player, and you being a PL small fav player. Yours and Horny's posts are always the 1st 2 I look for whenever I'm undecided on a game. I'm definitely looking forward to next year already......after the Ducks bring the Cup to the Pond . You're a class act all the way around:thumb: .

You definitely have to let me know if you're ever out in Chicago, so we can meet up for some drinks and bump heads (and the invitation extends to all you MadJackers, too ). We're planning on moving back to SoCal in less than 2 yrs, to around Dana Point or maybe a little south and start my own clinic. I'm getting a little tired of working in the ER, and looking forward to having a regular schedule when we move back. We thought about SD, and my little brother lives in Pacific Beach, but damn the cost of living there is outrageous. I already can't wait. But hopefully we'll meet face to face waaaaaaay before that.

Congrats on an outstanding season, and of course, on Baby Chenks. Take care.
