The job market is a fucking joke. 13 years with the same company and got dropped like a Mike Tyson KO. Took another job that turned out to be a fucking waste of my time.

Real Estate is worth shit. 4 years I've had a home in Florida on the market. Its a prime piece of land and its priced Dirt cheap!


I caught my wife cheating on me AGAIN. 3rd time in 20 years..

I hardly gamble any more. I used to post all the damn time and actually did well. Problem was i was addicted. I pretty much gave it up for her and look what happened..

I quit drinking for over 3 years just for her and my family. WHY?

I still support my family with the income I get off my farm land.

Ive been blessed. Thank God. But FUCK!

Tired of this shit. and yeah. I'm drinking.

Yea the job market stinks and its going to get worse. Shit gonna hit the fan. Mully as you know there are thousands of empty homes due to forclosure in FLorida. Hell 5 homes just on the block I live on that have been setting empty for 3 years that people just walked away from. Hopefully you have it rented out and can hold on to it until the market comes back in 5 to 10 years. At least you have a farm that gives you some residual income. Keep pushing ahead. Hopefully better days around the corner.

Jesus christ! When your wife cheating on you is third down the list you are definitely going through a rough patch.

Sorry to hear you are having a tough time. A bit of advice. Once a cheater always a cheater. I too found this out the hard way. Tiger wont change his stripes. You need to leave this person. It will be well worth it in the long run.

We got approval from corporate to hire another in 3rd qtr.

Other companies similar to ours are doing the same thing or at least close to it.

Car dealers are reporting great sales.
Tech companies are posting record profits.
Longterm healthcare is fucking booming.
Real estate is in a BOOM right now.

Maybe my neck of the woods is special and is immune to what you're talking about. Or you could live in Detroit.:shrug:

I need to move to your location. The private sector here is still dead. They are not building shit here commercial or otherwise. Florida did get hit hard hopefully it will have an uptic like your region but I think not. We shall see.

I've known you on here for a while and you seem like a real decent guy. If I might give you a bit of advice dump the wife, she doesn't deserve you. You deserve better than that. Also, get off the booze - you, I, and many others here know it's not all that it's made out to be. I just think you'd lead a happier life if you didn't mess have to mess with these two things.

Joker brings up a good point, what do you want to do? Go out and get it, it might take some hard work but you can do it. I love what I do, absolutely love it and I think that's one reason I'm pretty good at it. You can find the same happiness in a job if you like what you do and like going to work everyday. It's definitely not about the money and people are out there hiring right now regardless of how bad you hear the Economy is.

I hope things start to fall into place for you buddy.

actually........ That's pretty true. I was looking at a 3200 sq ft house that's less than 6 years old going for $220,000. Foreclosures are all over the place here. That being said, there are also quite a few new construction home going up in the Sub I'm looking at also. Jobs are also starting to come up


More importantly to Mully, very sorry to hear about everything. I agree with the statement "once a cheater, always a cheater". It appears you have a lot of friends on here and they are here for you. And it sounds like you are a strong person, look for the positives in your life and grow through this tough time. good luck friend
