Going to Vegas next week for the first time and staying at the Excalibur. I play craps. Is there a better place than others to shoot the dice? Any good places to eat? Any help is appreciated.

The Rio's got a really good Steak and Lobster deal.

The Hilton Steakhouse has a really good Ribeye or T-bone...Around $30-$40...well worth the price.

I love eating the pizza at the New York, New York.

The Excalibur has the Knights meal deal where they serve you small game hen and veggies and you eat with your hands while you watch midevil battles live.

That's all I can remember for now. Will post more for you when I can recall some more. Best of luck in Vegas...

Most of the casinos offer 2x odds or 3-4-5x odds. Go to a little casino next to Harrahs, I think the name is Casino Royal.....10X odds....much better game....

not much to offer but
just know there is a hot table out there on any given night it's your job to find it
Don't get sucked into staying at the excallibur on a cold table just to get comps.
go to the front door grab a cab and try another casino

good luck

nice chineese food at Paris

Kansas City area for who knows how long....

My Crap playing friends like to go where there's a lot of action. Near Excal, that would be NYNY, Mandalay Bay and MGM.

Dice setting tactics are popular nowadays.

Look out for that new craps bet on the top of layout at a few places in LV (Harrah's has it, I think...can't really recall). You bet how many pass winners the dice thrower will produce in a row. It's like a lotto bet when you take 5, 6 or 7---long odds but huge payoff!

Thread here on Crap Strategies I posted piece on the Golden Arm Club at the California Hotel/Casino (downtown). It's fun to look at the plaques and read about the famous dice tossers.

Here's how you get nearly free booze gambling, and topless gals to look at!

titus avoid the steakhouse at excalibur, very rude matredee there.

Sportsbook is avg ok in excalibur, get drink tickets when u place ur bets, but the prob is u can only get the drinks from the one waitress running the whole sportsbook area, they will not accept them at the bar in the middle of the sportsbook.

I stayed at excalibur back in october, nice cheap place, but prob. wouldn't go back because of a couple of quirks i didn't like. But had a hell of a good time anyways, spent alot of time at other casinos.

Another thing mandaylay bay and luxor have a direct rail from excalibur since all 3 are owned by the same compay. I am sure u will find some very hot tables at mandalay bay.

Oh yeah when u drunk 3am coney dog from the snack bar at excalibur are pretty damn good and messy and 2lb dog...

Have Fun!!
