Who ya think with one week left?

Will ND beat a barkley-less trojan team?

Will oregon boune back?

Can auburn give bama their 2nd loss?

Will kstate atleast hold their opponent below 50?

And most importantly, will all the 1 loss teams besides clemson lose, giving clemson a chance to sneak in? (Heatspix that was for you)

I say:

BAMA vs ND

Line: BAMA -14

I think notre dame handles USC easily,,I think Georgia gives bama all they want, with bama winning by a touchdown or less,,the difference being Saban versus Richt even though neither one of them plays,,I think odds maker make bama 10 versus Notre Dame in a low scoring game,, ill take notre dame and the points,,IMHO

I think Georgia upsets Alabama and Notre Dame gets out to a lead and holds off USC.....

Think Georgia beats Notre Dame for the title.

At the same time....pretty sure Alabama easily beats Auburn. I think Georgia beats Ga Tech...but you never know with that option. Isn't it amazing that everyone has so much trouble with that option.....yet no one else runs it?

I "get it"....gotta run an offense to attract the talent. But good god. If you ran option with talent.....I hope Tech kicks Georgia's ass...lol

Teams with speed on the dline/olb positions are the only college teams who can defend it....that's why it doesn't work in nfl...

But agree, only 5% of college teams have speed to totally slow it down....not sure why it isn't more popular...

Addict.....yeah, believe me, I know it won't work in the NFL. Tebow is prob the first guy in 50 years that is built to run a version of the option in the NFL. I really think if a guy like Vick could take the punishment.....would be unstoppable.

Just sucks that college football could be a lot better if it wasn't just a stepping stone to the NFL.

For the most part, you have to run a very predictable pro style offense to get the top talent and it leads to garbage football. Just throw it up to the big fast guy.....its all man-to-man....and hope your guy beats their guy.

If somebody like Florida State or USC ran the option...or even the spread option....they'd be unstoppable...except that the talent would go elsewhere....its a shame.

It came out that Bama would be -10 vs. ND right now

Bama will be Auburn by 50... literally

I would be concerned Bama could score enough to cover the 10 pts.

If they play anyone with any kind of a stout defense Bama is cooked.

Offense just sucks against top teams.

I would not be surprised if Ga beats them.

I'm not so sure Bama gets by Ga..The dogs have a very , very good football team and because Bama cannot get pressure on the QB I'm going out on a limb and taking the dogs..

Ga 25
Tide 17

Only reason I don't think UGA wins straight up in the SECC is because they don't have a good track record in big games. Richt holding that team back. Murray would have to play a flawless game. Defense would probably have to catch a couple breaks as well. It's possible. Not that likely IMO.

Anywhere someone can find out what a spread would be IF bama vs ND?? I see -14 and think that's way off....ND had the best D in country and Bama may not even score 14....I'm thinking Bama -5 or 6 max.....Hopefully they will get knocked out and it won't matter.

I never thought they could possibly beat Florida in a away game.

face it that was a huge game with tons of pressure on the Coachs job, the players, and standings

No pressure on Murray from Alabama defense and he would sit back there and complete alot of passes.

Georgia running backs have even a decent output and could be big trouble for the Tide.

-10/11....

Corley and few others have found it...

I have seen 10 and 11....but that seems to be the starting point vegas would release

1 win in a huge game doesn't = track record. They don't lose every big game they play. But they lose more than they win.

1-1 in big games this year. better than the average

2011: Boise L, USCe L, SECC L, Bowl game L

2010 don't even need to address

2009: 1-3 in big games (ranked teams)

2008: lost both top10 matchups and GT game. beat LSU though

2007: no reason for them to lose to USCe or Tennessee this year. Shoulda won both and been in NCG

2006: bad year altogether

2005: Blew the NCG hopes with back to back Ls to UF and Auburn and got beat in Sugar.

as far back as i felt like going. with Richt at the helm I don't have faith in UGA in big games. they blow too many under his command. Most rational UGA fans I know want him fired but he finds a way to save his job every year (or luck into it = UF 6 turnovers).

Didn't brennan get a shot with like the redskins or someone...
