i will be in nashville in a couple of weeks for the Raiders game. if anyone wants to get together for a drink saturday night let me know.

friday night is for me and the lovely wife, but sat night is great for drinking. i will be with another tiatns fans (co-worker) - i will be hoping that my beloved can win on the road.

15-20 minutes, you are about 5 minutes from where I live. Do you plan on going anywhere before the game to have food and cocktails? Ronnie's bar is at the corner of 1st and Church St, the last place you can stop before walking across the bridge to the stadium!
I can give you some easy directions from your hotel that will keep you off the interstate right into downtown and good place to park.

Come out of your hotel, back to the light at Elm Hill Pike and take a left. Stay on Elm Hill until it dead ends into Murfreesboro Rd. Take a right on Murfreesboro, go about one mile, take a right on 2nd Ave. Follow 2nd Ave right into downtown and there is a nice parking lot at 2nd and Church, opposite from Hooters. Ronnie's place is called Corner Stone Bar and is about 100 yards from this lot at 1st and Church.

do you have any hotel suggestions ? several hotels i looked up online did not have great ratings in the vandy area. i do not mind a 15-20 cab fare. i want to get a nice hotel, but nothing that is going to be 200 +, we are not going to be at the room that much..........

I don't know if you open this link but I went into Orbitz and this first hotel is the closest to the stadium {300 yards}, not the best area but you will not be hanging out and the cab ride to downtown is 2 minutes, $88 a night looks to be bargain.

The airport ones are about 15-20 minutes from downtown but cabs are high around here {$20-25}

Here is a link to Hotwire and they have one for $83 out by the airport which would be a nice one but still the commute but they do not name the hotel until you book it BUT they do have the best rates
