So Cal
Anyone think Chicago +7 has a chance?

I happend to love it the points....
yes the juice is high @ -131(courtesy of heritage)
But these Bears are much impoved on offense
And should be able to trade scores with the Packers

What is throwing me off is last weeks lost to the niners
may only be fuel to the fire for the Packers to make a statement on national TV (well most cable/satelite now carry nfl network).

Id love to hear some opinions on this game.

Yes it is tough to believe a team that had gone on a nifty little 21-1 run can now lose 3 games in a row at home (last 2 by average of 12.5 PPG) and they were physically dominated and bitchslapped around by both the G-Men and the Niners......but this team has some issues....Raji has become Gilbert Brown all over again, one dominant season and since start of 2011, a big fat slob that just gets stuck on blockers and accomplishes nothing, Woodson is on the downside, Clay is the only pass rusher they have....throw all that in with the fact that the downfield passing game has been off for a while and they wont run the ball, and Rodgers has always been relatively well defended by the Bears, and you might be onto something

The Packers are a shell of themselves. I hate the Packers but I hate the Bears too. You can't listen to a Packer fan's opinion. They are in denial and shock. Not to say that can't beat the Bears and cover, they just aren't the same team.

Lets break this down, Why were the Packers so good in the regular season last year? One reason is they had their whole offense back playing against teams with no off season work outs with more limited game plan. Let's flip to this year.

Green Bay's defense SUCKS!! They have two players, Matthews and Woodson, they get no defensive pressure unless they blitz plus their defensive ends get sealed easily on run plays and their corners are weak, very weak.

Offensively they are one dimensional, running game sucks and teams don't give a shit about play action. TE jermichael Finley is grossly over rated and Packer fan is in denial about that. Greg Jennings is limited with a groin, so you have Jordy Nelson, James Jones, and Randall Cobb. Still a nice set of receivers but with Jennings limited Jordy gets the coverage and he can't handle it. He thrives on taking on the opponents weaker coverage schemes. This team is much easier to defend, oh I forgot to mention, their O line is horrible, horrible.

Bears weakness is offensive line in pass protection but they can run it and especially against the Pack. Brandon Marshall
Makes a HUGE difference for 2 reasons. WR Earl Bennett is an underrated receiver, his problem has always been health but he is healthy and presents a big problem for GB, now you get Hester in the slot with those Big wides leaving the middle of the field wide open. It's just a very strong opinion often that the Bears are just plain better, I picked them to win division and go to the Show. The theory of "we won't lose two games in a row at home" is how Vegas makes money. Also notice the Pack didn't get every call last week. They have gotten all the calls past two years and now that maybe slipping too.

Bears 34 Pack 27

On the course!
This is one of the biggest bookie traps to ever exist. Play off of last weeks emotions.

Green Bay played a great SF team, who many think will play in the SB, and looked bad in a loss. Chicago kicked the snot out of a very weak team, and they look like world champs!

Now.....7 points looks like a gift. It rarely is.

Not a big as loss as u would think.

See this is where I disagree. It is a huge loss for the Pack as they don't have another like him. A speedy veteran that draws double coverage and a safety. Jennings out leaves Jordy Nelson to deal with a big CB in Tillman, and jones and Cobb to deal with the CB that had a great game in Jennings last week. Add that to a lousy run game and I see this as a game that people are going to have to get used to. Manning and Rodgers and the wide open style is not new to anyone anymore. Ask the Giants and New England.

Bears win 44-27

Bears' Tillman questionable

Linebacker Brian Urlacher is listed as probable and cornerback Charles Tillman is questionable on the Chicago Bears injury report for their game Thursday at Green Bay,

Neither Urlacher (knee) nor Tillman (shin) practiced Tuesday, the only full day of preparation for the Packers game in the shortened week. Bears tight end Kyle Adams (shoulder) also is listed as questionable. He and Tillman were listed as having limited participation in Wednesday's abbreviated practice.

Yes James Jones is a decent receiver as a third receiver. Now he is in the second slot. Only Packer fans think that losses to Pro Bowl type players aren't that big of losses. Jennings is a good player, I'm happier than a pig in shit that Packers4life traded me Adrian Peterson for him in fantasy though.:mj07: What a fleecing.

Green Bay could easily win this game but the injuries do matter especially to their best wide out. I really believe the Bears are the better football team, top to bottom. I think another key factor is you have Green Bay on a short week after taking a physical pounding against San Fran. Chico could be a little more fresh

No worries brother, good call on Jeffery as well. I am a Bears fan and I honestly believe that the Packers will absolutely start out 0-2. The fact is that teams get old and just because they were good a few years ago doesn't mean they will be forever. Zero running game and the worst defense in the NFL last year. yes they led the league in interceptions but you can't rely on sniping to win football games. Besides, you have lost to Alex Smith twice in a row and now all of a sudden Jay Cutler is worse than Smith? Crabtree is better than Marshall? Gore better than Forte?

Okay bro, maybe you will see something different in the fairy tale land of sweets and cheese but here in the real world........the better team usually wins.

Can't wait for the game. Doesn't get any better than this my friend. Cheers and good luck on your fantasy team, the Pack still sucks.....lol
