Jack, if I say anything here inappropriate - feel free to place this post on 7-second delay.

To the media:

1. Janet Jackson's super bowl show
2. Coaches and players dropping the f-bomb during interviews
3. Desperate Housewives desperate for attention
4. Pacers and Pistons
5. Baseball players being shown throwing seats
6. Players spitting on umpires and other players
7. ....and the list could go on....

Thank you for making me sit there watching sports with my son with the remote in hand with one finger on the mute button and another finger on the previous channel button with Cartoon Network at the ready.

To the fans:

To the fans who think your price of admission gives you the American right to do or say what you want in your drunken state, regardless of who is sitting around you and whose space you infringe on.......you better hope you arent sitting next to me next time I am at a ball game with my kid.

I don't think anyone in their right mind would disagree with you, the problem lies in the fact that it is what it is, meaning ABC got exactly what they wanted from that MNF skit. They knew going in this would be the reaction and were looking foreward to it, the ratings for their crappy new show will probably never be better that they are now because of all the attention. I was taught way back in marketing class that there is no such thing as bad publicity, and the execs at ABC are well aware of that.

The asshole fans you refer to will get a free pass on their actions, like always, hell they will probably get a nice settlement out of the deal, especially if that kid Artest thumped was not the guy who threw the cup at him (notice in the replay that kid still has a cup in his hand) he just hit the right place at the right time lottery.

I couldn't agree with your point of view more, but like I said, it is what it is and it's not gonna change. I wish after reviewing the tape of the riot in Detroit if any of the fans involved could be absolutly identified they got their season tickets yanked from them, I mean those seats that close have to be season ticket holders and there is plenty of footage since ESPN was airing the game, but they will probably get away with it, just like always.

If only I were king.......
