New York - Rep. Tom DeLay, whose iron hold on the House Republicans melted as a lobbying corruption scandal engulfed the Capitol, told TIME on Monday that he will not seek reelection and will leave Congress within months. Why do I think he will become a lobbyist. And that should give him a chance to be a bigger crook.

if he`s not guilty,i`d be surprised.....my guess is that regardless of the charges,he would have been reelected....that`s what i`m hearing...

but with aides dropping around him,it looks for all the world like he`s bailing...before he`s removed from office...

looks terrible....he looks guilty...at least of the federal charges..

if that`s the case, good riddance to bad rubbish...

being a conservative, i hope they ride his ass out on a rail. i dont know the details of all the trouble he's in, but he looks guilty as hell. i know both sides are always looking for a witch hunt, but it doesn't look like he's too innocent.
i was watching fox news last night and a reporter was commenting on his resignation and started commenting on how tough he was politically, but he has a big heart when it comes to children.
GIVE me a freakin break.
makes me want to puke.

Now THAT's a picture I never thought I would see...

"Introducing Tom Delay, speaking in behalf of Foster Children Everywhere..."

I would guess that at the very least, he could raise some lobbyist money for the kids...lol.
