Unbelievable results the last two years. His team has no business in the Final Four, yet here they are. I grew up hating MSU, but I have to give Tom his due. He deserves to get the Coach K icon treatment. Amazing.

The dislike for MSU and Izzo runs very deep. But I have to give him credit. That little bastard is back in the final four. I hope Butler can beat them, but I just have a really bad feeling they will be back in the title game again. Damn it!
Doesn't matter. He was in (arguably) the toughest bracket and his team was the only one to survive it. His team has also been struggling with injuries the last month, so they have no business in the Final Four....yet here they are....again.
while i agree....i think most wouldnt have had many of those teams past round 2.
but for my money, in march, izzo is the best in-game coach around.

I am not trying to short change what Izzo or MSU has done. Just noting the fact that some teams have choked along the way to ease the burden of beating top name teams.
Watching this Duke/Baylor game makes me think. BU has beaten a #14,#11,and #10 seed. Looks like they are in trouble when they finally meet someone in Duke.
Question is does Mich St really meet anybody in another class than them? I dont think so at this point.
