He would have a hella better chance to win at Auburn as opposed to SCeast. Be interesting to have him and Saban in the same state...:0corn

Man, I would choke of hysteria and delight.

The man I hated in the 90's with an extreme passion who I now respect as a great offensive coach.

Auburn hasn't had a great quarterback in soooo many years...

I haven't Auburn receivers running for the deep ball in forever...

A man can dream.... :sadwave:

One bad year after several great years including basically a non-awarded national championship (13-0) and he gets fired. Pure crap. Sports have become a total joke.

I agree but he's gone and he isn't coming back... Like an ex girlfriend, why sit here and think about what we had when we can fantasize about whats to come?

I'd say so.... I think he is getting tired of losing at SC and Auburn would be a fresh start for eme... Although at his age 62 he might not wanna make a move this late in his career but i would definatly give him a call if i was the AD..

I heard the same thing (Ole ball coach) from a reliable source today.

If its true, I wish I wasn't graduating in a couple of weeks!

I believe you. My parents are from Birmingham and a certain assistant AD in the 80s turned AD in the 90s stayed with my grandparents for the SEC Conference weeks when it wasn't this caliber. Generations of Auburn Alumn. So there are connections...

That being said, I am clueless, as my grandmother is at the beach down at Orange Beach and can't hear her cell phone... :mj07:

cmon man, auburn doesnt want spurrier and he doesnt want us

we need to build a power for the next 5-10yrs spurrier isnt the answer

well... who else then?

spurrier would be a damn good recruiter here.

I want an offense like Florida... who can do that for us? :142smilie

That would be awesome. I work at auburn links and tubby used to come in a lot to get lessons.

Do you like the Links or the Lakes better?

the lakes is 10 times easier and easy to score on...

and you can't beat the par 3 course playing from the tips!

"we" aint picking nobody, the BOT makes the decision...

it's not muschamp, petrino, leach or spurrier so get that crap out of your heads

gill would be a great hire IMO

it seems like somebody is pissed off bc tubby was fired.

if you look at the last 10 yrs... how many SEC championships have we won?
