I am finally red hot, so I feel confident enough to post my picks. I had a rough time of it for about 2 weeks, so I havent posted in awhile, but I am feelin good.

All of the stats point to the Colts tonight. I just cannot justify giving 4.5 (which is an extremely important number) to a team that has only lost once, and I dont care if they havent played anyone. The Steelers have played quality teams, and all they did was get blown out of the stadium. The Saints game was a blow out too, dont let the score fool you. The Steelers have done just about everything wrong this year except for last week. And the BUNGLES make everyone look good, so that is irrevalent.

The Steelers are not running the ball with authority and their quarterback is mistake prone. Hines Ward is a quality receiver, but Burress is the second coming of Randy Moss, a big quitter with a bad attitude.

The Colts on the other hand have a winner with Peyton Manning and a coach that has taught this team just enough on defense to give the high powered offense a chance to win games. Also the Colts special teams are far superior to the Steelers.

I give a huge advantage to the Colts in about all facets of the game. I will take the 4.5 to the bank!!!!!!!!!!!!

COLTS +4.5

small play on the over 46. (reasoning, since I believe that the Colts will have their way with the Pittsburgh defense, they will likely put up close to 30 points. That means the Steelers only have to put up 17 to cover this. The Colts defense is certainly susceptable to that amount. And the Colts are still underdogs in this game, and are at Pittsburgh, so this will NOT be a blow out. Iam not guaranteeing a Colts victory outright either, but the points are exactly what i was hoping for when this line came out.

Final score

Colts 28
Steelers 27

gl but how do u think the colts wil stop bettis? he is finally getting his act together and i think pittsburgh controls the clock and runs, runs, runs!
if i coached the steelers i wouldnt have to stack the line on the run due to there run defense is already good! so now u put this into effect-u can either drop more guys into a zone or even blitz manning hot and heavy! manning is very poor when the heat is on-he cant scramble and ive sen him make mistakes over the years when the pass rush is heavy! im starting to think about this game more and more and think cowher will be blitzing heavy!
i may be wrong but still think pittsburgh beats them up and down the field tonite! (physically) gl though

Mize-
Very possible. Manning is not good under pressure, and on the road is prone to throwing 2 or even 3 picks tonight. However, I think over the course of a game...Maddox is gonna throw just as many. As far as Bettis goes, I dont know the numbers of it, but this guy looks FAT to me. He looks a step slower than even he has been over the course of his career. This team averages over 5 yds a carry last year, and this year averages just over 4. That is a true sign that his career may be coming to a close. I thought for sure that Zereowe would have the starting job by now, but I guess they are going to run Bettis until he just cant anymore.

As long as manning doesnt force anything...he will always have the 5-10 yd drop off passes available against this defense. New England and Oakland have proved that the middle of the field is always open on this team. James may have a field day in the middle of the field.

Good luck in whatever you do man!!

alright Mize....I hate to do just what you are advising people against. But I just got a call from a guy that takes a lot of local action, and he said that the money is pouring in on the over on his end.

I havent put in this bet yet....and I am going to lay off. That was not my strong side anyways and no need to force a bet that seems to the be the "public side"

I am staying with the Colts but the over can be saved for another day.

Also to add to that...if I am swaying on the line, I am guessing that Vegas has made a pretty darn solid line tonight....SO

I am takin the Colts +11.5 and under 54.5 on a 7 pt teaser.
