i doubt it has any relevance in that regard as i'm sure pujols wasnt expecting larussa to manage through the rest of his contract.

BB should let everyone use whatever thay want...... thats what we have now .....you can't stop the stuff and you can't contain it... it's being used in high school, college , pros... you name the sport.. I saw it being used in hs in 1979... if they were using back then, at that level, do you think the pros were using then ??? the russians and estern euros were using in the 60's ..... lets just agree to use and move on .... tony will be back, some where , where they don't care.... if anyone cared, how does mark mc gwire get his current job.... if you think about it, if you are 50 yrs old , the glory days of BB are what you heard about or read about ,old espn films in the 50's & early 60's and what you saw in the late 60's & 70's ... If you are 50 or younger, you have seen the streriod era for the last 30 yrs and depending on your memory, 10 yrs to 15 yrs of pre steriod BB...evryone talks about holding onto something that has been long gone ! willie, mickey & the duke , those days are gone !!! the game has changed.. how the casual observer preceives the game and how the media projets the game, needs to change....
