I'll give you one thing, as the game went on, he got better, the beginning of the game he sounded like a 5th grader. The "best", hardly, not the worst, but that's about it.

Gruden is by far the worst, he literally has every players cock in his mouth. Brutal.
Romo is getting better, he is right about most his pre play calls, and it's the play they should call.

I think romo is great. Far better announcer...

I laughed the 1st game I heard him on, but he quickly grew on me.

I like that he is not polished. Sounds like an intelligent ex qb that should still be playing based on his age. Hopefully he does not change.

So much better than gruden and aikman imo.

He was spot on last night calling plays before they happened. Too bad he had to keep repeating himself because the Chiefs never changed the D.

Best color man in the league - his call of where to throw the ball in the 4th qaurter and reading the defense and even when he was like "no need to go gun here on the fade"

He's the best color man since Gruden - and better as an analyst - he's amazing

First game I've seen with him in the booth this year. Like I said, at first I wasn't a fan, maybe because he has a different style than most. Throughout the game, it did get better and I'll agree, his play calling was spot on. Definitely a better commentator than he was a qb.

as much as I disliked him as a player I appreciate him as a color guy. Think his insights are spot on!

No one has mentioned Phil Simms, who use to be with Nance. With good reason. Was so glad when Romo took his place. Romo sounds like a kid so excited to be at the game, but remembers vividly the Monday mornings after the game.

Enjoy the pre play calling also.
