- - IMO there was strong play by the Colts' defense early last year that foreshadowed the late season flourish in which dem Colts finally asserted a Super Bowl caliber defense. I don't see the edge that prevents that special defense from taking a perceptible step back to their norm this season, and the Saints offense is built for this carpet and will be well choreographed in its efforts to expose any such regression on the defensive side . . . In a nutshell, the Saints attack will challenge the Colts to keep pace with them . . . I found enough ways to dabble on some other plays so it would be accurate to say that by my standards I'm fairly well invested in how the visitor will perform on this big stage.
