--and it is directed to those who from whitehouse who just condemn Price-waterhouse-cooper report for insurance co's as lies-scare tacics and numerous other adjectives--without using one example of why.Has been their Modus operandi

One question--which I have pounded since before healthcare reform
In order for the no pre ex to be cost efficient you will have to include the healthy contributing to premiums. The govs answer is a fine for those who don't participate-- the fines-
This per adult penalty would also be phased in: For 2013, $0; $200 for 2014; $400 for 2015; $600 in 2016 and $750 in 2017
So if I have choice of paying $200 a year vs insurance premium and can if I get ill apply for insurance and be covered--which will I opt for DUH
Not only will it not add any to insurance rolls but it will lose several more.

Really Linus, no one, not even other conservatives, take Michelle Malkin seriously. But I gotta give her props for breaking what is unquestionably the most important news story of the decade. Of course, I'm speaking of...

Scarfgate

In late May 2008, celebrity chef Rachael Ray appeared in a web advertisement for Dunkin' Donuts iced coffee wearing a thin nylon neck scarf. The following day, conservative bloggers, led by Michelle Malkin, described the scarf as a "keffiyeh", a traditional Arab male headdress made of heavy cloth woven with a checkered pattern, and which has come to represent the Palestinian uprising or intifada. Malkin dubbed the scarf "jihadi" chic, implying that Ray and Dunkin' Donuts were promoting Islamic extremism. Malkin's opinion spread widely through the internet, and conservatives began to condemn Dunkin' Donuts and organize a boycott.

The company withdrew the ad within one day, and several days later stated: "In a recent online ad, Rachael Ray is wearing a black-and-white silk scarf with a paisley design. It was selected by her stylist for the advertising shoot. Absolutely no symbolism was intended. However, given the possibility of misperception, we are no longer using the commercial." A backlash by liberal bloggers and readers ensued mocking the conservatives' concerns. An article in The New York Times called this a "peculiarly Internet-age controversy."

Wayne, I have to say that I agree with your point on the penalty and what people would do. While I have not read much on the proposal, I do hope this is bantered around, and it should be answered and addressed. I think there has to be more to it than is being called out, though, I guess we'll see. I'll check out the questions, I'm interested in what this bill will actually become when all is said and done.

I consider the Price Report as true. Assuming it is true, the report's timing assures some sort of health care bill being passed. What were they thinking?

As far as any top ten list, I have been amused for months over such questions and many more. Any bill that may reach reconciliation will not be recognized in its final form. Anything said before that is a waste of my time. I will have plenty to comment on at that time.

I listened to the report. I thought the first five questions were pretty good, and I'd like to hear some feedback on those. I thought the last five were more vague and politically tinged, and were less important issues (again, from quick review and memory). Plenty of interpretation in those, presuming things, one sided look with no commentary against, etc.

But some good questions there. One thing to point out, we still don't have a bill to look at, so to address things that cross several bills can be much easier to do to come up with a bunch of questions.
