I expect a letdown from the DEAD things, after watching their last few games, the GEL factor is not coming into play. This happend 3-4 times a year with top teams and I expect it to happen to Detroit later today. Phx on the other hand has been playing some great hockey, I do realize they have lost a few lately, but I really like the way they are playing and expect an upset, if not a tight/close game. Funny, as I am typing this up I just saw the line drop from +165 to +155. Hopeful;ly my wager didn't influence Pinnacle to move their line, DOUBT IT LOL
Now please guys don't go risking much on this game, as it is a long shot in terms of the odds, but don't be surprised if PHX upsets the DEAD THANGS 3-2.

Just a reminder that Coyotes will be without Briere, Amonte and May and will have Gratton in the lineup.
TTM, I live in Windsor across from Detroit. I am not a Wings fan, but certainly do not agree with your assessment that the Wings need to GEL.
The bulk of these guys have been together for a minimum of 2-3 years and the addition of Schneider won't take long to ease him in as he is already played with the likes of Chelios and Hull.
If the Phoenix price keeps dropping, I may have to look at playing the Wings here. Main thing that scares me is the fact Colorado game is on deck Saturday afternoon in Motown, but the Wings are not a team to look ahead and are still thinking they have a slight chance of getting the #1 seed out West and still have to fend off St. Louis for a top 3 seed after the Blues won last night in San Jose.
If I can get -1/2 -120 or less on the Wings....grab it.

Their hockey has not been fluid in comparasion to the Yotes who in my eyes seem to be playing better hockey right now than any other team in the league. With this observation I will take my chances.

that being said, i agree with you in saying the coyotes play of late has been better, but my concern if you are backing the yotes is how the team deals with losing some popular players such as Briere, May and Amonte.
Considering the Wings haven't been playing very fluid of late, they are 12-2 in their last 14. Just food for thought.

carolina is starting their third goalie(i think). I've notcied when teams start a new goalie they tend to play more defensive to help him out. Carolina isn't scoring very much(besides vs. cbj) and in their last 15 games only 4 have gone over.
